... it! You have to commit and go for it apparently!! Anyway, got a train and two planes to go before we get there! I really enjoyed writing my blog when we went to Sri Lanka and a lot of you said you enjoyed reading it so that's why I'm doing it again! ... right next to the grammar school, and were offering their rugby field as an exchange. You guessed it, there wasn't much choice in the matter - the exchange took place and the cricket club moved - that happened within Dennis' memory, so if and when the Waltons from the 1800s played cricket, it would have been right next to the school. I've emailed the Knaresborough Cricket Club to see if they have any archives - you never know....

... I had to snap a shot of their dog Keeper's collar and a reproduction of Emily's sketch of him). Tours are self-guided, and the museum opens to the parlor where Emily was purported to have perished on the existing couch. Much remodeling has been done to the rooms. There is a reproduction of the bed where Patrick reportedly confined Branwell to prevent him from succumbing to alcoholism, highly supported by the neighboring Black Bull. ...

... the same thing since. Our kids have got the impression that Daddy was raised in a very weird church where they don't have a regular church servce. After church we headed to Barnoldswick and to the graveyard where my Dad is buried. It was great to see the grave in good condition and I know that, although my Dad never got to meet is daughter-in-law and his grandchildren, he would have loved them and been so proud of them. The graveyard is right next to Gyhll Church ...
