... wowed by the houses along the coast, the golf courses and the beach. One day maybe...

We stop at the Restless Sea and it's pretty cool. There is an area where the waves are breaking quite regularly, flowers are planted close to the beachside and the locals are jogging or walking their dogs amongst the swarms of tourists. Hinesh is once again climbing through rocks to get to his shots. I sit and chill on the rocks and contemplate life ha ha ha.

Our first stop for 15 minutes was Pigeon Point Light Station - an old an now disused lighthouse with a small attached house. ... and older. Kids grow up so fast. Gilly and Jacob are in high school now. How did that happen? I took a long winding walk through the Glen with Jacob, Zoey and the dogs and got a view of Stanford and Palo Alto from the hill. Picked up a California Buckeye which is huge compared to the Ohio buckeye. How does that happen? Jacob also told us all about the bottles he has fished out of the creek and showed Bobby. What it meant for us is that we were without the Internet from noon yesterday to this morning. All was good when we got up! Really felt isolated without access!
