... Dennis the Menace playground takes the cake so far, and even made mention in the Lonely Planet. A suspension bridge, tunnels, three different climbing structures, a rock wall, a labyrinth, a roller slide, and massive spiral slide kept the kids (and parents) entertained all afternoon. There were parents joining in on all the equipment. Speaking from experience, the slides were awesome! Tired and cranky during lunch, it was as if the excitement ...
... but fortunately, it was only a short distance. The RV park was easy to find and we were checked in and settled in no time.
As we were setting up, I kept hearing this sound, like barking dogs. It took me a minute to figure out it was actually barking seals and sea lions. That's how close we are to the sea - could hardly wait to get across the street to see it.

... between the Tuck Box and the hotel. We also stopped to see several little gardens along the way.
I did take our hiking stick, and was glad about it a few times. We may have only walked a mile and a half at max, but with chronic fatigue *and* being out of shape? It was a big success for me. And the stick made the difference several times, allowing me to keep my balance and spread out the weight.
