... We then left and started the trek to the other mountain which was a 6 hour drive away. The place we stayed was in the middle of the forest and it was ****. Worse hotel I've ever stayed in Easy. The bathroom wasn't even a bathroom. Tiny little toilet and a shower head next to it. I couldn't even stand in it that was small. Was a **** dinner too, food was cold. We tried to sleep but was so grimy was ...

Normally it'd take hours to get out to deep waters to see such large sea creatures but we soon spotted fins breaking the water and around 3 whale sharks having a big feeding session - they swim at the surface and filter water through their huge mouths catching plankton and wee fishes! They are beautiful creatures, they have hundreds ...

He knows about the election, what it meant, and what it means in practical terms for Indonesians to rid themselves of past military associations. He's all for foreign investment in a capitalist way, but at least he is no fascist.

... twelve-hour rickety minibus journeys. Ohhhh the joys of travelling! You really do question your sanity on these journeys... Having overnighted in a lovely (cheap! with a BATH, a BATH PEOPLE!) hotel in Bali after putting on my brave pirate act on the boat back from the Gilis, we began an organised two-day tour (ironically to try and save time...) to Yogyakarta in Central Java via the active Gunung Bromo in East Java. A sight not to miss... and I'm a volcano freak, as you've ...
