... his quiz team but they won so that was great! Fun night even though we didn't know any answers and getting to know some of his friends. Wednesday (26th) today we wandered around town in the lovely sunshine. Stopped for coffees then ventured through some shops and opp shops for the arvo. Tonight we caught up with Gavin for a few drinks and then moved on to franks Bar for dinner, which was delicious! After dinner we went to Cuba for a few drinks and to watch salsa dancing ...

... out the critical places to visit in San Francisco. Alcatraz is booked, as is a tour round the area including going across the Golden Gate Bridge. Reading through the guidebook, it seems that food and drink might form an important part of our few days - oh well. Shopping also gets a big build up - maybe we will pop in to Macys, or Bloomingdales. The good news is that Karen can't buy much or we will be over-weight for the next flights!

... in Lavenham. It is a really cute town not too far from us. It is known for being crooked, as you can see in the pictures. We walked around, went to the farmers' market, visited little shops, ate at a pub for lunch, and tasted the best ice cream we've ever had. ... a bit. Only bad thing with traveling this time of the year throughout the UK is a lot of the tourist things are closed not to open until March/April. Heading back to the pub late afternoon to find the start of a weeding happening. Grabbing a couple of drinks, I went up to my room for a while. Around 7 I went down for dinner of roast meats and veg.
