Verruckt in the Membrane

Today we took on the mighty Verruckt at Schlitterbahn. The worlds tallest water slide with a 168 foot drop. That's higher than the Statue of Liberty and Niagara Falls. You have to climb 250+ stairs to get to the top. Had to drive 11 hours yesterday to make it to Kansas. It was worth the ...

We are ready to take on the adventure of tomorrow's road ...

Today set off to a great start, we were picked up at our hotel by Mike and Deb and driven in their Chevelle to Carol's for breakfast! We had an amazing breakfast, had prime rib off the 'grill', eggs, hash browns, toast, homemade cinnamon rolls (my favourite!), cherries, watermelon, in fact pretty much anything we wanted!!! Their hospitality was overwhelming, we definitely won't forget them :-) ...
