... wham yup down it came on my hand...I didn't swear outloud as we were passing some huge yachts hehe I wanted too! a cut and bruising a bit swollen bit I'm sure it will be fine! The captain said I did a good job of jumping off and tying us down...I ignored the hand at that point :-) we have found a new home for the hook!

I was starving and had one of the bet meals I've had since I've been here-chicken pot pie- I saw this on a "Saturday kitchen"type show the other day...it's a pilgrim fathers' type of dish. I then got another taxi (everyone's so nice, it started to pee it down, but dispite this, my waitress came right out in it all to help me put my bags in the trunk). So I made it to my tuesday hotel, on Monday, in the peeing rain, with a million bags ...

With a full evening booked, we continued to Staten Island where we found free parking to precede our free ferry ride. It was a wonderful little trip at sunset--pictures are attached :)
