      ... After they'd built the warden's house and other more important accommodation of course! Our first tour was "Doing Time", and was about the day to day life in the prison. We entered through the locked gates of the main prison grounds, then into the building which is four stories and had different sections depending on the length of the prisoners sentence.       ... The second time I was bitterly disappointed and swore I would never do it again.There's 3 of us I said, no hope.It's festive season I said, no hope.

      ... South of Perth. It's the Cooleenup Island on the Murray River (in Yunderup), only accessible by boat. We painted the house and the boat shed for a couple of days. I saw spoonbill birds (with large, flat, spatulate bills) for the first time.

      Last Sunday, they also took us on a boat trip, on one of their friends' catamaran. The water colour was beautiful and we saw a few dolphins.

      ... which was out of character for our visit so far, so took this opportunity to seek out the last of the shops needing to be perused, even Andy found a couple of ideal gift shops which contributed to the box of goodies: therefore rounding up the finale of Xmas shopping.
