It was 6.10am when we all meet up at the airport to begin our American adventure.
Check in is easy and security quick so we have time for a big breakfast and duty free shopping.
The flight is on time and we settle down to watch some films. The cabin crew serve very fast food, It' s a bit like traveling with B and Q staff -older than most and lacking the finer nuances of customer service! ...
... specialties which was a great finish to the trip and could only have been better if Jason was able to attend. A special call-out to Jason is necessary here as he battle through a pretty severe case of traveler's belly and still managed the great wall.
After dinner a few of us had a nightcap or three at the Hyatt hotel and witnessed one of the all-time worse bar bands I have seen. We even took a video so that it could be proven to our tour ...

... appreciated and completely opposite of our flight to Europe where we practically had to beg for a drink. When we were about an hour and a half away from home they came around with a warm turkey and cheese sandwich which was the perfect wake-me-up before we got off the plane. ... The first thing we all did was take some money out of the machine since there was no line at the ATM. I was really looking forward to trying a German beer in Germany, but there were no bars where our terminal is, so sadly I am going to miss out on that. I did however purchase a post card of the Frankfort airport so I can keep a collection of where I have been (since they did not have any shot glasses to purchase for my collection) ...
