    ... they are few and far between. Still annoying however!!! Yesterday, we went to the Stone Museum in Mosedus. This was started by a geologist who carried his passion for stones to his own home. There are all sorts of stones, even some from under the sea, as well as statues and monuments all made of stone.     20 July 2014 Sunday was still in Vilnius with Vytaute. We had a leisurely morning, then went for a walk in the forest which is very close to the centre of Vilnius. It is by the river and quite a few of the Embassies are also here. I enjoyed walking under the trees, but it is surprising how dense the forest actually is.     ... Friday they even started checking inside our wallets - presumably for drugs.

    The organizers get a little minus for the parking facilities, which were non-existent ("just park your can in some residential street.. hope that the residents don't mind"). Oh, and the fact that the coffee vendor in our "Tent City" packed up before we had gotten our Sunday coffee!

    Should we go again next year then?

    ... stopped to pull on our warm jumpers and jackets for the walk to the hostel. The wind was biting! The hostel was not far from the bus station, maybe 25 minutes walk, but we broke this up with a stop at the tourist information office. Here the lady had super English and could give us a map and lots of information about what to see. She could also sell us bus tickets to get to the Karosta region a little out of the town, and where the old military prison is which we ...
