... and they pretty much kicked him off, the jobsworth facist women-haters. We were quite depressed with ourselves considering we then had to pay out another £76 to get down to London, but I guess if this is the worst of our travel cock-ups for a seventh moneht world trip I guess we should 'quit the *****in....'
Bangor, Wales, United Kingdom thegaddabouts... Mountain Goat, they generally live higher in the mountains, but this dude had a bit of limp which is why he was down by the road side - they're pretty rare to see (1 in 50 chance), our tour guide was pretty chuffed.
Caernarfon castle was next - this was the place where Prince Charles was inaugurated as the Prince of Wales in the 60's. It was a stronghold for King Edward the 1st when he invaded Wales and is heritage listed as one of the best examples of medieval castles.

Tonight we're staying in Bala - a lakeside town, known for it's watersports and prehistoric fish that inhabit the lake! Dinner was at a pub (for something new!) and we enjoyed Steak and Brains stout pies - Brains is a beer brewed in Cardiff that Josh is enjoying - he is also getting into the Magners and Bulmers ciders!

The Touring site is better than Mablethorpe (Golden Sands), but still not brilliant lots of the pitches are uneven even if they do have lots of grass it's not lawn cut like Caravan Club sites – not seen any grass cutting whilst we were there. Some pitches are 100% grass others are not – some (ours is one) is ...
... musky animals. In addition, whilst the lawn would have been large enough for our five man tent, the whopping great big pond in the middle of it made it impossible to pitch a tent unless you wanted to balance the tent over the top of it. This would make for a bit of a wet night, with the dog whining incessantly at the ferrets the whole time. Nope, we made the right decision to drive home later.

... I have enclosed some photo's. This trip took us over the Pontcyscllte Aqueduct which is about 200 feet above ground. Following the trip I walked back over the aqueduct and took these photo’s. No way would Glenn come with me as he is not fond of heights. At a little shop on the other side of the canal I found a small recipe book to bring home of English cakes and scones. Today was a long ...

Following our visit to Chester we made good time on the freeway to Conwy, Wales. This has a large castle as you enter town and you can walk all the streets in about an hours time which I proceeded to do. Glenn and Gordon set about finding photo ...
... 30 and tied up to the pontoon. On to the local pub as the sailing club was not cooking that night, and early to bed as we planned on a 5:45 start to Ardglass in Northern Ireland, which is 70 + miles away. Actually, we really wanted to spend a few days on the Isle of Man but the wind, although forecast to be ESE, was actually NNE, ie not a good direction for Douglas, the main town and harbour in the Isle of Man.
