They had a medical appointment in the evening so we left before dinner time and continued north toward Liège. After a 90 minute drive we arrived in Huy on the Meuse River right at 8:00 pm. I guess the theme to all these posts is beer, but come on. We are in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium after all. As you can tell we drank some great Belgian beer and had some great chocolate. Tongeren was also interesting because it is one of the oldest towns in Belgium, so it had a lot of cool old buildings and crumbling cobblestone ...

Today Harry and I headed off to visit Ger and Annemie Boom in Haelen, Limburg.
We took a train to Roermond and were met at the station by Ger, who then drove us to their home.
We arrived at 11am and stayed until 7pm. Ger's sister Will was also there to spend the day with us.Lots of laughs and talk about old times and current times
