... off so lovely....my Cheney colleagues and friends, my fabulous OSP netball girls, my school/NUAS/Uni/Newcastle friends old and new from all corners of the UK, and my amazing family who have allowed me to use my adventure as a great excuse to get us all together. ... meander our way past the Department of Homeland Security followed by customs. Jumped into a yellow cab, past the Manhattan toll and into midtown. Checked in to our hotel "The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel". Room looks good and is right on the edge of Time Square. Went for a short walk to take in the lights. Tired and weary we headed back to the hotel to crash. Being up for about 23 hours with only a couple of naps here and there has taken its toll. ...
... woodlands, past lighthouses and on to Dancing Ledge where daredevil cliff climbers dare to jump! A casual lunch at Durlston Castle with a view back to old Harry Rocks...WOW!
A visit to Russell Cotes art gallery and museum on the cliff top near Bournemouth was also a lovely day. Amazing art exhibits!
