      ... br> The photos taken from a nearby field are all we can take away, but the drive has been lovely, and the life the people lead idilic, but lord knows how they earn money, we assume that they are all country houses of the wealthy in Rennes and Brest - apparently an ugly sea port built in concrete after the war, another casualty of a British invasion of a different sort.

      ... I fear one owes the french an apology for whilst it isn't as Anglocised as the Costa del Sol, the evidence of "Fish & Chips" advertised and the dominant placing of Donahue's Irish pub tends to indicate that their presence has had some impact.

      ... a long and difficult restoration project the Parliament was restored to its former beauty. I enjoyed the tour of the Parliament very much, but we didn't have much time to explore Rennes after that because it was time to hit the road again.
      It was around 8:00 PM when we arrived in Keremma and I got to see the little neighborhood of family owned homes that we would all be staying in for a week. For me and the treasurer's daughter it was off to the neighboring house for dinner ...
