    ... went out of site at about 4.30pm so we settled down for a long night ahead. Thankfully we sailed through the shipping lanes through the light which is always a good thing. We were able to turn the engine off by 11am only in the early hours did we have to turn the engine on again.     Today we travelled from Brest to Saint Malo. There we stayed in a beautiful 19th Century Mansion. The young couple running it were really lovely. We had a bit of trouble getting the car through the gate, and like most guests, ended up scraping the car ever so slightly.
