We caught a taxi to St Malo train station then an early train to Rennes. Checked into the superb 5* Balthazar hotel on Rue Marechal Joffre. Recommended. Because we were early our room wasn't ready so we wandered into the town. And particularly the old part. Very old timbered buildings from ...

Stayed at this 5* Castels campsite for 3 nights. Enjoyed lovely woodland walks to the surrounding village of St Leonard in Epiniac and days out to Cancale and Le Vivier walking on the beach amongst the oyster beds. Also spent the day in Dinan, it's great having the car to explore the area without having to move the ...

It depicts the invasion in 1066 of William the conqueror. We continued on ...

Finding a car park and heading up a one way street only the locals waving their arms at us frantically ...... Yep one way street. So poor Paul had to reverse the car back and head in the right direction. Finally we found a car park and went for our walk to a ...

We left Dubai bound for Paris, France. We arrived safe and sound in Paris, France and proceeded through customs ....... What customs I say ...... None ..... They just stamp your passport and away you go. I did however have to remind the customs officer to stamp my passport. We went and picked up the hire car and after trying to work out the ...
