This one's quick and simple. My first gallette and cup of farm cider. Better than I remember. Considering they're part of the reason I traveled 5,000 miles, you can bet they're pretty good. So good, I forgot to take a photo of the gallette! Guess I'll have to eat another ...

So it might surprise you to find that since it was built 4500 years ago it has been closed to the public for approximately 100 days. Di and Henry turn up on the one hundred and first!

... the disappointment and have a typical huge lunch. The kids were very impressed with Brittany especially the unique tidal patterns of this coastal region. In 6 hrs, the water can move 6 mtrs high. It's very interesting to see the boats sitting in no water and come back 6 hrs later and they are floating. We went to lunch ...

Somehow I did manage to get these pics uploaded from our trip on the 9th to the part of Normandy where Monet lived. I thought I took a picture of his house, pink with green shutters, but somehow it's not around. Anyway, the gardens were nice, even this late in the season. JP is so funny, he was pointing out that some if the restaurants in Giverney claim that they were Monet's 'favorite.' There are 46 people on the cruise, of course ...
