    The new government has been formed in France and I am sure every French person is captivated by the announcements. Interestingly the Minister of Education is Najat Belkacem, first woman to hold Education and there are 8 woman appointed out of 16 ministers. vive les femmes!!The left has held the majority and it will be business as usual hopefully but I am sure there will be some grumbling ...

    We arrived in Bordeaux about midday. Hotel is slightly out of town across a very very long bridge! Bordeaux is a beautiful elegant city, with massive boulevards and huge squares.
