A cycle around the town revealed a huge flea market in progress with hundreds of browsers and stall holders enjoying he interaction.
We were considering our evening options to keep WiFi going, as I had a problem getting French SIM card to work as it had been inactive since May. Orange France has a 2Gig monthly top up which expires at end of 28 days whereas Orange Spain has no expiry on your credit.

... motorcyclists they were - well today we were cursing at these two cars who refused to move out of our way and at 120km we kind of needed them to - guess what - the two offending vehicles were British drivers in British cars!!!
Having said all that when we decided to stop for something to eat we indicated right and moved to turn right - someone over took us as we were due to turn and someone under took us on the grass verge!!! Interesting!
... br> It was a major submarine base during WW2 built by the Germans, in the an enormous and imposing concrete bunker.
Opposite the bunker was a fairly new cinema - so that worked out well....

Our original plan was to head to Saint Malo but upon rising I discovered that we had no lights or water. The van charging unit was kaput as one lady said. Once more the French rose to the occasion. The lady in the hotel who also ran the camp ground and was heavily pregnant, while booking people out and booking people in, she phoned garages and got us started. She was rather lovely.
