Today is the first day of my First Solo Trip. I am traveling in my 1979 Fiat Spider on my way to Nashville. I left Richmond this morning about 7 am . The top was down the roads were clear and I was singing out. The drive has been wonderful, the mountains ...

... about hiking before or after. Saturday night wasn't that fun for me directly because I had to get back to the trail the next day. I had found a ride back to Pearisburg, but the catch was it was at 7:30 the next morning. So on a napkin I divided my remaining milage by 150 days (which coincidentally would have me finishing exactly six months after I started), and I discovered that I only had to average 12 miles a day to do so. I took it a little further and checked the math for finishing in 120 days - four months, or, as ...

... some sun once in a while. Me and Stealth have been pushing 20 mile days pretty consistently and I can definitely feel my legs getting stronger. I can also tell that I'm starting to become a lot more comfortable and confident out on the trail, it's become a way of life. Spent Easter on the trail and had some awesome trail magic! A group of college kids from ETSU were grilling out ...
