... Belo Horizonte, we traveled to Ouro Preto, a small town with lots of churches and museums... Here we went to a Science & Rock Museum and explored some churches, overall we weren't too impressed with the small town but would have been much more enjoyable if we had a guide- everything was in Portuguese and we couldn't understand even the descriptions !!!

          Bye for now

Add into this the travel time between the 3 locations on other sides of the city and my whole work day was about 8 hours. So I guess today is my first day of real work in a year and a half.

My first job was a 20 minute walk from home and was actually an interview ...

I went to the gym this morning, which is actually starting to become a positive routine for me :)

I also had work today from 12-1 at BK21. Again I only had one student today because everyone was either busy or on holidays. It was a good class though. One of the girls in their office (who isn't taking classes) speaks fluent English so I got her ...

... our frantic search to find alex and jess another wedding present, I stumbled upon a 150 hour online TEFL course, which I could complete within the next 6 months so Sam and I each bought one and saved about $400 on what it would regularly cost. This decision may prove to be a pretty significant one in later life... stay tuned

We all headed out in Savassi, and had some last quiet beers with everyone before the big day tomorrow.
