... Belo Horizonte, we traveled to Ouro Preto, a small town with lots of churches and museums... Here we went to a Science & Rock Museum and explored some churches, overall we weren't too impressed with the small town but would have been much more enjoyable if we had a guide- everything was in Portuguese and we couldn't understand even the descriptions !!!

Yeh yeh. I know what you are all thinking! 5 hours! What a joke! And you're right. But when you are used to working 2 hours a day, 5 is a big step up. Add into this the travel time between the 3 locations on other sides of the city and my whole work day was about 8 hours. So I guess today is my first day of real work in a year and a half.

... our frantic search to find alex and jess another wedding present, I stumbled upon a 150 hour online TEFL course, which I could complete within the next 6 months so Sam and I each bought one and saved about $400 on what it would regularly cost. This decision may prove to be a pretty significant one in later life... stay tuned
