... hanging out and sharing stories with them. It was more of a social event than a meal. Sep even commented that despite the busy schedules (typical work day lasts until 8 p.m.), the people make a concerted effort to relax and unwind by going out for drinks, dinner and other social activities. I think this attitude differs somewhat from the rat-race mentality we have up in North America. Perhaps this is a lesson to bring back!

... was kinda posh, the houses looked so nice in the area, Leandros house was quite great as well . Their family was so nice to all of us - Leandros sister is a doctor and poor Steve had a bad throat (he still kept talking and smiling the whole trip - i have no idea how he managed to do that !!) and she actually gave him medicine and everything - really nice people.

We made our way to the Santander Bank Tower which at 34 floors high gave a great view over the city. Fortunately it was free, so after a 20 minute wait we had our allotted 5 minutes viewing time. The view was great and showed us just how big Sao Paulo is – it was building after building after building.
