... a host of salesmen who wander around the fan fest with coolers selling chilled beers. Lovely. Despite a fairly boring 0-0 draw the atmosphere is so manic that you wouldn't really have noticed. ... as we had about 2 hours time. The flight is scheduled for 12.45PM. Patrick texted me around 11 and then 11.30 and he was still on the train. No signs of the train moving. I assured him that I will wait till the last minute before boarding the plane. Around 12PM I decided to board the plane. I finished my check in and got a text from Patrick that he is on his way. ... everyday and Acai ice cream is our new addiction. The Brazilian food is steaks, rice and beans and delicious! Further they offer anything you want in this city famous for nightlife and good food!
Soon it will be carnaval so many preparations going on in the city. We visit the school of samba and got a sneak preview of the real thing, the drums are amazing and they can dance impressively !

... and Argentine sides of the falls. We also went white water rafting down the Iguazu river which was great fun. Spending an hour afterwards on the back of a broken down jeep in the middle of the forest whilst soaking wet and freezing cold wasn't quite as enjoyable.

Next its onto the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, one of South America' s biggest traveller hotspots. I'm excited to be heading to a Spanish speaking country more than anything else!
