... back for the hair treatment. The bad thing about the hairdresser only speaking German is that I had to remain most of the time as translator, there are only so many magazine you can look at. Anyway four hours later the magic was done, I was expecting a horrific bill of over €200 but it was only 90 a bargain. Today we went to Villa Di Catullo, which is an ancient castle left in ruins after many years. Apparently you are not allowed to stand any of the rocks, we found out when the boys were posing on a rock for a photo and we suddenly heard a woman madly blowing her whistle from 100m away yelling at them to get down! gates and another bar or two. At the end of a lovely day, we hiked
back to the hotel and sat on the roof top watching the sun drop in
the sky while drinking Prosecco. Our evening meal was in the pizza
restaurant near the hotel again. Unfortunately the friendly waiter
was not there again.
Having waited ten years
to see the Italian lakes, we were not disappointed. What a wonderful
place.

they were introduced. Everywhere was covered with lemons, either
growing or in shop windows. Real, fake, lemon derived, lemon
