    ... tying a scarf around my thigh in the town centre. Got the metro and a bus to a farm in Zatec, the family seems lovely, there's a lack of deodorant, the child looks like he pulls legs off insects for fun, and our tent is next to a barrel of rotting cabbages and maggots but there's worse things that happen at sea. There's another workaway here who came from a slum in Berlin, there was no running water, electricity or food, he had to rummage in bins and collect plastic bottles ...

    This is a beautiful Spa town . The hotels are spectacular , perched on cliffs .painted in beautiful colours Most were built 1880 when taking the waters was popular , but has been a spa town for hundreds of years .

    There are many fountains of hot water for people to drink . They recommend that you use a teapot shaped cup to sip the water as you walk slowly .

    They eh all looked silly , but the cup vendors happy .

    ... designer label! The whole town was spotlessly beautiful and gleamed. We were only there for two hours so we wandered the streets for a little while, had lunch, and peeked inside one of the expensive hotel lobbys. It was a nice break from the long drive.     So I went to Karlovy Vary, a town 2 hours away north west from Prague, with an organized tour from our university.

    They said it was a Spa-Town. So what did I bring logicly?! Yes, I brought my bathing suit...

    Freaking town with hot springs is not at all what I imagined. They have these water fountains that serve hot water from the springs for all to drink, enjoy and be cured of whatever illness you have.
