    Very nice

Clean, spacious rooms. Due to travel issues we arrived late and missed dinner with our group but they sent cold cuts up to our room without our even having to request something.

The room was too warm at night though and air conditioning seemed to do nothing to cool it down.

After our harrowing day yesterday a nice relaxed day was just what we needed. This was an optional tour day which we hadn't planned on participating in so nothing changed as a result of our late arrival yesterday. Almost right across from the hotel is the large Angiolina Park and just beyond that the promenade that stretches along the coast for …

On a number of occasions they would come racing up behind and sit within a few feet from the back of my bike and desperate to get passed. They then would take any chance they could to get passed putting their and my lives in danger of a head on crash. Most of the time if a car came up behind I simply pulled over and took a few photos just to get them off my tail.

... but hey it was spacious and clean. The young chap that checked us in gave us a map and directions into the old town. We settled into our room and then headed out to find some food, we were starving! The old town was only about a 5 minute walk away and we found it easily. We got lunch just outside the Iron Gate that takes you into old town at a place called NoStress cafe. We got some club sandwiches with a side of chips and some drinks. After, we walked through the ...

... a hint of dried saliva taste. Although my palate is not as sensitive as hers, I also did not see what the fuss was about. The nearly abandoned nearby village of Kotli was worth a quick visit; the entire village appeared to be for sale.

At this season there is a surplus of accommodation available everywhere, mostly in homes or small guest houses. However, if planning the trip again, ...

... Plitvice Lakes as we have decided to leave at 5.00am tomorrow morning to get the most time at the lakes . I think she felt guilty for messing up the transfer from the bus stop so she was very helpful. She is also packing us a picnic breakfast for the drive tomorrow . We have enjoyed our stay at La Grisa and the food was amazing , our waiter Marco was lots of fun and looked after us well ...
