Clean, spacious rooms. Due to travel issues we arrived late and missed dinner with our group but they sent cold cuts up to our room without our even having to request something.

The room was too warm at night though and air conditioning seemed to do nothing to cool it down.

When I booked this hotel I wasn't really sure where its location was but fortunately it's only 100ms to the bus station. Our bus is leaving at 6.20 am in the morning for Trieste, so we will easily be able ...

After we pass through the longest tunnel in Croatia, Ivanna talked about the Istria region of Croatia where we would be today. The crest of the region has a goat on it. Goats are low maintenance animals and many are treated like family members. The region even has a beautiful goat ...

... he called up the NY Times and the San Francisco newspaper to read the headlines. Afterwards he played songs from his phone, beginning with That's Amore, New York, New York, etc. We arrived at the national park and quickly did a WC while Vlaho got our tickets. Then we met at the map for him to show us what we were doing before hitting the trail towards our boat ride. It is a beautiful park with the lakes and waterfalls. One has to be careful to mind their step, and ...
