... even managed an afternoon sleep. Amazing.

In the late afternoon the sun finally showed itself, and we
      braaied under the setting sun.

Cycling in Switzerland is fantastic. Almost everywhere you
go there are cycle paths and the way that other road users respect you is
nothing short of amazing, especially for us coming from South Africa. The paths
are well sign posted which certainly helps in areas where you can easily get
      lost.

Werner and I rode from Beaune to Liesberg in 3 hours. It was a short but good ride.

Overall we had an excellent time, saw some new interesting places, and were very good riding pair.

JS will ride on to Allschwil, and once there, a link to all of our photos from the trip will be ...

... riders were from the pre1950's, exhaust pipes, when attached, belching smoke and oil in equal proportions. Had a walk round the town and then went into the tourist centre where a lovely lady told us all about the area and gave us lots of pamphlets. With it bucketing down with rain we headed for Pareid where we we're staying for the night. Well we did say we wanted countryside and this place certainly is that! ...

... us, and I think the balance now is good - it's feeling in control, rather than being controlled where the balance was lost and I think that was down to a lot of different things all happening over a period of time. I want to keep some balance now I've got it back! Gosh, blah, blah, blah...... You see, it is time to go home.....! PS no luck with the gas - we're on a student stove now so no more 'a la carte' menus for us! Anyone for Pot ...

... it was shut til 15:00 so we decided to head to the Motor Museum that day - The museum is home to the Schlumpf Collection, which is classed as the most Prestigious Collection in the world and the Largest collection of Bugatti's - in total there are over 400 cars in the collection...there are plenty of pictures and a video of Tom going for a spin or roll in one of the cars...

We stayed a couple of nights, visited Mulhouse centre but not a great deal to see here...
