Frankie now has a new working engine fan to help him stay cool and a change of tyre. Even with these we have decided to still avoid Italy and spend more time in Germany. So we continued back up France close to the German border. We found a city called Mulhouse.

The heat wave has returned (38) but thankfully this place has a pool. The city also has one of the biggest car museums with over 400 classic, prestige and ...

... time the person in front of you would step. Inch by inch we crept through the swarm, shaking on encouraging (pushing) each other. Once we reached the middle, the fears left, the cameras came out and the cameras started clicking. The view was MAGNIFICENT! It was $100 for each of us, which was what we had expected, but $60 each for the bikes, and they didn't even get a seat. We have seen so much, learnt so much ...

... sales period in France, and everyone was taking advantage of it. Everyone, that is except me, who was only game to look. It's like that song. " its like rain on your wedding day, it's a free ride, when you're already late, it's good advice that you just can't take " I did manage to buy a skirt, but that was all I was prepared to buy. I just hope that the shops still have some things left when we get to Corsica and ...

Faucogney is in a National Parc Regional Des Ballons Des Vosges. Great area is south west corner of Vosges. Haute -Saone. Aire. Brilliant and purpose built for 4 vans by the sports fields a short walk from Centre Ville. Services perfect for 2€ the quietest Aire to spend a few days. Really like this place. This is a very interesting village. Oh my word. I didn't expect to see anything quite like this little hamlet. The clock has stopped it seems after the Second World War. ...
