    Today we got up early, had breakfast at Isabel's house and were in Barão de Cocais for a workshop by 9am... a great bunch of teachers and we had a fun with them.

    Tod gave a really nice talk, and we ended with a few activities.

    The drive back was spectacular.

    ... a glass container in the freezer to cool it down. She put the glass container ontop of a frozen packet of meat and it slipped off, opened the freezer door and smashed on the floor :( Everyone was devastated, but we still managed to salvage a little bit of it and it was delicious. I just wished there was more.

    ... bonus! He also has a really good way of teaching - practically rather than by the book. Essentially teaching in the same way we learn when we are kids. Ie we learn to listen and speak far before we can read or write. I feel it is the best way to learn.
