... an hour away by train. We had an idyllic day - sunshine, paddling pool, running through the fields, fishing in the river (Thames), Pimms and a long pub lunch. All we needed was lashings of ginger beer and it would have been a Famous Five book!! Just a small aside - Brazil and Croatia are about to run out for the first game of the World Cup - ...

... way of doing beach for us. The pier was about 300metres long, lots of benches so you could sit in the sun and at the end there were restaurants and lots and lots of arcade games. I couldn't tempt Nev in to the house of horror or on to the crazy circus ride.

It was a nice walk, and I'd have liked to see Woodhenge, but there just wasn't any time. I'm glad Levi and Jake wanted to walk too.
