    Fireworks all night, but actually woken by noisy neighbour snoring! Had to put on fan for white noise and then a blanket!

    ... is almost inexistent and people are very friendly here. The city is surrounded by parks, museums and cultural events. For example, we simply walked into a live show in a Cultural house where there were about 50 young people simply dancing and clapping to the music. Our first day here was great... we might even want to stay more than 3 days now.

    So far Brazil seems to be a country of well endowed beautiful people - we discovered that people here have more plastic surgery than anywhere else in the world, second only to South Korea. People here have plastic surgery to their eyes, noses, chins, but most commonly boobs and bottoms are the areas targeted for... shall we say inflation! In fact you could say bottoms and boobs are big business here in Brazil! :)
