... It is so much more interesting and we didn't have a huge mileage to go to get to Bern. We lunched at one of the villages and enjoyed walking through the narrow streets for a while. Soon we were in Bern and we easily made our way to meet up with Nina. Nina lived with us in Melbourne during her six month exchange in 2007. She is now completing her masters in theology at Bern University. We last saw Nina in 2008 when we visited Switzerland. Nina had was able to explain ...

The way they designed the lights changed the way the entire building looked. It transformed from ...

On my way back to Geneva airport I first stopped off in the capital city of Bern. Despite the storm I seemed to arrive in, the city had a real class and elegance to it and reminded me of London in some areas with a distinctly more Swiss feel. It's a busy city with plenty of grandeur in it's architecture, definitely worth mentioning is it's impressive Clock Tower. With only a few hours it was more of ...

... getting colder and by the evening it started to rain. We managed to set up the awning just before the rain came down really hard. We must have gone from 30 degrees to 16.5 degrees in a day. The weather is warmer in England today!

Dnes rano jsme se vratili zpatky do Estavayer-le-Lac, protoze se nam to tam vcera libilo. Je to stredoveke mestecko s krasnymi uzkymi ulickami a malym hradem. Po ...
