We had a great time spending more time with with people we had and are getting to know better on this visit. We sat next to Ken Murray who travels regularly to India and Sri Lanka and got more accounts of his journeys and adventures.

Sitting in the back of a cab in the dark sorting through rupee notes in numerous denominations trying to make 3300 did test my patience a bit but we made it. The hotel reception was glad to see us, he didn't need to do any of the normal formalities, just get to bed. ... Our last day, we watched TV for the morning again (a luxury) and then headed into the nearby shopping to pick up some bits and pieces to say thank you to Erin and Jeremy for their hospitality!! We went to dinner across at Southbank, which was lovely because they had lit all the buildings up for the G20. We shall miss you Brisbane and co!!! It's been nice to have a family stopping point again. It's just us and Wilson on the way up the Cairns now..... Via Australia ...
