Brisa Mar Hotel Florianopolis

I am right now in the South of Brazil, colonized mainly by europeans (Germans, italians...) I took a night bus to Floripa (12 h) and there is a good place to visit some beaches in the Santa catarina island.
After these days I will be in the NGO doing the reforestation project, for two weeks. However I have some days before fliying back to Europe. I may be visit Iguaçu falls (Depending on money, of course)

... being Sundays Brazilian BBQ - can you say more steak....Then off to a bar with live music or a club. Watching Richard (the annoying English guy - (dark curly hair) and the Kiwi Marcus (blond hair) trying to chat up the local girls to varying success.

... the way we came was NOT, (no way), an option, so we followed one of the roads steeply down towards civilsation and eventually came across mankind again, much to our relief. "A Volkswagen! a Mo-ped!!! A house!" Phewwww! Following the road led us straight back to the beach and we quickly made our way to the apartment, showered and began treating our arms. A few hours on the beach and eating out has followed... All we can say Bear Grylls would have been proud of us!!

... making a lot of pasta simply because it is easy and quick. And to be honest, the grocery stores here carry mostly local vegetables which I can count on my two hands. Most grocery stores consist of about 4 isles which carry a variety of canned vegetables and sauces, your standard cleaning and hygiene supplies, and an isle for alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. I have yet to find a grocery store that sells mushrooms, and if you want anything like bok choi forget it. I ...

Segunda vez que fui pra Floripa, mas dessa deu pra conhecer bem lá... Outra cidade que vale a pena conhecer, agua transparentes, praias maravilhosas, gente bonita...
Praias que mais gosto de la: Campeche, Joaquina, Mole (só pra tomar sol pq o mar é super bravo).

... re all really nice, and, apart from the occasional textbook lesson, a lot of the class is conversation excercise, and some of the afternoon class students even convinced the teachers to hold class at the beach a few times. ... some more Canadians and hung out with them and drank some beers. We've pretty much have just been trying to hit a different beach each day. Today we actually went downtown to check some of Florianopolis out. The Canadians are leaving tomorrow and I still haven't made up my mind what I want to do yet. There are still a few beaches here that I would like to see. I will make my mind up in the morning and decide what I'm going to do.
