    ... so every now and again they let turtles back into the ocean. Sadly this didn't take place whilst I was there but a great opportunity to see them up close in the sanctuary.

    ... most of you must be is Jillīs pasty white skin reacting to the Brazilian sun. Well...I would give it a "mas or menos" or "so-so"! Day 1 on the beach...I was good to go.     ... in that it was more of a city, nearly 3 times larger than Sayulita and more sparse. Still inhabited by hippies selling **** you don't need but really want, shops selling dirt cheap clothes and too many identical restaurants booze filled stomach (ice cream filled in my case). Churroz stands, corn on the cob and crepe stands were on every corner testing your will to resist, a major fail for me.

    ... a beautiful long beach with an island not far away. It was lovely and the sun even came out for a little while, it was short lived though and the clouds soon came back with some horrible wind!
