We took breakfast in the throne room - as you do. We are getting a bit sick of cheese and ham but still eating it. We were sad to leave our royal palace. We had gotten used to the regal atmosphere. This was a treat stay for us. We booked a taxi and went for one last stoll before travelling. We enjoyed our garden and of course took more castle photos before getting into the taxi to travel to Trento to catch ...

We had cauliflower soup with a cube of slow cooked beef in the middle, a salad in between then pork with potatoes and some other ...

... and walked into the main part of the town. We found a restaurant along the water and had simple pizza and pasta for lunch. Then we walked to our favourite gelati shop at the other end of town and had our fix of icecream. Geoff and I tried a new flavour, Sale de Cervia, basically like a salted chocolate caramel.....seriously good!! Then we headed home and spent the afternoon packing, reading and getting some school work done. We had dinner at ...

... outside the city walls in 30 AD, something that blows your mind as you're sitting on the same stone steps. The boys just couldn't comprehend such an amount of time and I must say, it's hard myself. Our seats were to the right of the stage, up in the high stone steps. The scene was breathtaking and as the night got darker, the candlelight lit up the stadium. The photos will never do it justice and on a warm, summer night it was the perfect setting ...
