    After an early morning swim in the pool and breakfast on the terrace, we said our farewells to Mark and Debs and hit the road. Chris took us part way up yesterday's cycle route to a fabulous viewpoint of lake Como and then onto the Ghisallo Di Madonna.     supermarket to stock-up and then continued north to the Valle dei Laghi. We are
    still in the Trentino-Alto Adige region and not far from Trento, the principle
    city of the region. The mountains are getting higher and the lakes smaller.

    The campsite is lovely with stunning views of the rocky peak of La Paganella at 2105 metres high. John has bought a map so we can plan some walks.

    ... to upgrade our hire car to a Classic Italian Alfa Romeo Giuletta ( or similar) was a complete wast of time and we ended up with a citroen C3 Picasso. Not at all similar !! I will be taking this up with the hire company on our return. Other than that it has been a fantastic ten days which as Kate keeps on reminding me was all booked by her.... Except the car hire!     ... Mumsie and I shot over to the place and requested a spot. I quickly discovered that for a "price" you could actually drive a Ferrari of your choice and while I was thinking about it Mumsie whipped out the credit card and said "which one do you want to drive?"
