... and I were satisfied with the tour. Even though it was quite expensive it was a good value for money.

In the evening we had a meeting with the girls with whom we spent the first part of our tour. They seemed to be nice so we thought it could be entertaining to get to know them a little bit more. Since we arrived in Malaysia we wanted to try a meal called “steamboat” which is actually more Chinese than Malay. In any case it is a social thing so it was perfect ...

All of the taxi's have signs indicating that they only operate meters and cannot haggle but we've not met one that uses the meter and they all try to rip you off. So not best pleased with them anyway and when our taxi pulled up at just after 8 to navigate the rush hour city traffic to the bus station ...

... trek 9a complete, now all we had to do was find our way to the Boh Tree Plantation.

We made our way down to the main road and saw a sign post for the planation pointing up the hill 7km away. We decided to go for it in the baking hot sun and after a few strategic sips of water and a Chewit sweet each we were on our way. The road was unbelievable steep and wound through every nook and cranny of the mountains, cars were passing us every minute or so and not once did ...
