      ... at 2040 metres. We started the day by walking 5km to Brinchang to grab some supplies and start the hike. The hiking trail started just outside of town and was a 3km hike up the mountainside. After a muddy climb we made it to the peak where we took a rest and had a small snack.       ... this was our first thing on the 'to-do list' in Brinchang where we were staying. we found a little restaurant right across the street from our hotel and finally ordered the steamboat. the waitress prepared the whole thing in front of us and we only enjoyed the ready made meal that was really delicious.       Ok ang lasa, masarap talaga ang Nasi Lemak (Nasi-kanin, Lemak-gata), kaya naman napakain ako ng marami, yun nga lang, may pagka maanghang talaga ito. Matapos ang aming almusal, nagumpisa na ulit kaming maglakad, tutungo sana kami sa tea plantation, ngunit tila napakalayo ata nun para lakairn, kaya hindi nalang kami tumuloy pa.

      ... of bamboo plants growing along the roads so there is no shortage of supply for these local people. Bamboo wind chimes and the other handicrafts are a tad expensive. Those wind chimes are priced around RM40.
