More foodie heaven followed with a winding tour up through the misty cool Cameron highlands , a v British hill station with orchids growing on the hillside & acres and acres of strawberry and tea plantations. It's all v British from the electrical sockets to the right hand drive cars, cream teas and mock Tudor buildings in which we are staying.     Why Penang? Well I was born here in a tiny little village (1953) called Kulim, delivered by a Chinese midwife because I couldn't wait to get to the big town of Penang. Mum speaks of a rather bumpy trip in a jeep and my hasty need to take my first breath of air. Probably wont get
