Welcome to Scotland - er Malaysia?
... better to do than grab a curry! Malaysia is a great place to get indian food, as they have a large population of indian immigrants (the same can be said of the chinese- imagine if Bradford had a china town!) We found a restaurant on the main street with a covered outdoor seating area where we could sit and enjoy the storm as we ate our dinner. We sampled roti canai, a sort of pancake served with dips, and very tasty!

Fresh Air, Green Hills, Good Tea - is this Asia?
... big old building built by the English in the 40's and felt really homely - can have a look here http://fathers.cameronhighlands.com/. As we stepped off the minivan that cool climate we had been longing for hit us, literally a breath of fresh air (bad joke I know :P). We settled in and had a walk into town for a look around and ate some good Indian food at one of the stalls that line the main street. We were planning a big day out with some trekking the next day ...
Walking in the hills,a gentle stroll..maybe not...
... at 2032m so the drive up in an old Mercedes that there are quite a few of here and that they use as taxi's was pretty cool, past and through all the tea farms was a sight. Had a walk to the top of the viewing tower and the amount we could see was pretty amazing, full 360 degree view over the highlands, so well worth the few steps up there. Then the walk began along a little grass path for a few minutes ...
Walk... Pah, hell more like it!
... The first like 10 metres or something was fine, it was like a narrow path on the side of the hill and you could walk along it like walking normally along a road pretty much. Then it turned a corner and carried on a bit, then it was like.... well where the frigs the path gone?!!
It basically turned into proper forest (you're probably thinking... derr, rainforest trek.. kinda says it in the name! And ok, you're right but I ...
