... lookout tower that has been erected at the peak. Normally the watchtower provides an incredible view of towns, valleys and mountains stretching towards the horizon, however, we arrived shortly after the rain so the whole surroundings was assailed by heavy mist and we couldnīt see so much. We still had a great time observing the foggy scenery and landscapes of Cameron Highlands.

From Gunung Brinchang we proceeded to our final destination - Mossy Forest. The Mossy Forest is ...

Second day in KL was a bit more relaxed. I pretty much just wondered the streets and figured out the local transit system. Got myself to the Petronas Towers, Bitang Walk, Times Square mall with roller coaster and central market. All ready now to show Marian around when she arrives. On Wednesday, I took the bus up to the Cameron Highlands and left the sun behind for the lashing rain. When I checked in the girl at reception looked a bit depressed remarking that it ...

... a climb than a trek. Soaked to the skin we were pretty much on all fours climbing up a fairly shear trail, we reached the top and although the trail was a hell of a lot harder than the way here, it was quicker as it was so much steeper. We reached the top and were absolutely dripping wet with sweat, our legs were burning and our feet felt like they’d been run over by a bus, we were absolutely knackered. We sat for about 10 minutes before completing the final 1km of ...
