Goodbyes are rough

... early for once in our lives here. I think it'll take a few days to really get back into the life here without Alison. Even the next day on Sunday I didn't feel like myself and probably felt a bit homesick for the first time since being here. Sunday we went to Sunday market then the beach. For once, it was hot and not windy here so we could lay out in the sun. The beach was packed ! Muizenberg is always windy so laying on the beach is usually a no no but Sunday was so nice ! ...

... to walk along the new tree top walk. As expected, at this time of year the flowers were magnificent. the tree top walk which is approached like everything in Cape Town by a steep climb, gave a wonderful view over the gardens and the city. Then it was home to start on the packing and prepare for the long journey home the following day.

... lunch together. It is this very beautiful city. The Table Mountain from a unique charm to the place. Waterfront is a place of forward purchases docks, full of sailboats, shopping malls, many shops, a "food market" with all the delicious culinary options in the world, including Brazil, and all very cheap to eat. A hazard for those who have already earned some kg ….lol here in Africa.

To close with a golden key we went to see a stage play rugby ...
