... in dramatic ungrammatical prose. When I came back, I discovered the car charger was gone. I marched off to ask the night manager if he'd taken it. He told me he'd kept it in the glove compartment, but somehow it disappeared from there. I realized now that I'd been a victim of crime not just once but twice. Double bummer, welcome to South Africa. After consulting my freediving instructor and his wife, I went off to get the car repaired on my own dime, versus ...

... to walk along the new tree top walk. As expected, at this time of year the flowers were magnificent. the tree top walk which is approached like everything in Cape Town by a steep climb, gave a wonderful view over the gardens and the city. Then it was home to start on the packing and prepare for the long journey home the following day.

... things were. Numerous intertwined pathways were lined by low rock walls. A drinking fountain was centrally located, although refilling water bottles from it took a little skill. A relatively large restaurant serving full meals and quick snacks was nearby in a stone building. And the views were fantastic in all directions.

We ate lunch at the hotel, and in the afternoon I paid a visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium. It seemed rather small ...

... a parking spot, watch your car so it doesn't get broken in to, and in our case, he showed us the trick that you can do with a stick shift to roll the car down the hill in neutral and then jump start the battery! He was a total lifesaver!

Another of the top "must see" attractions in the area is the Cape of Good Hope/Boulder's Beach area. It's about a 90 minute drive from Cape Town to the tip of the peninsula ...

My whole body was extremely sore from our ab workout yesterday, so I decided to take the day off. Our schedule for the day included the clinics in the morning and a tour of the hospital later on. We arrived at the clinic and took pictures with the health care workers before we left to see our patients.
