We have driven further into the state of Victoria and away from the coast into the bush and mountains. During the drive, we passed several areas that had been affected by the recent bush fires, the trees were all black but begining to regenerate.

... fight. We all ganged up on Renee which was fun. We than went back down the mountain. Still the visibility was ****, but you take the good with the bad & at least we can say that we had snow fall on us.


We got back to the cabin around 3:30ish & stoked up the fire to prepare for a night of NCIS & master chef watching. Kath & Nae went & returned our snow boots while I & Belinda chilled.

It was a great day, something none of us who will never forget.

We arrived at Beechworth only half an hour away from Wanganderry. As we arrived in Beechworth,we found a caravan park.We took it and started putting up the caravan.While mum and dad were taking up the caravan,Marc and I were riding our bikes to the park and throwing the frisbee. ... Burning Towers built in 1883, some 2000 Chinese are burried here as a result of the huge amount of gold mining that took place here. We were impressed with the old bulidings and the history of Beechworth, for it was here that Ned Kelly stood for his committal hearing of murder. ... bietet sich natürlich schon ein anderes Bild, als das was wir oberhalb der Schneegrenze gewöhnt sind. Zudem empfand ich die Berge hier nicht als so aggressiv wie sie sich durch die vielen Felsspitzen und Gipfel und steilen Abhängen in unseren Alpen zeigen. Hier erinnerte mich -sehr zur Erheiterung von Matt- alles eher an die Rücken von Teddybären.
