... The salon air conditioner is working! We still have the fan in the pilothouse, but we can run the boat from inside rather than at the upper station in all of the heat that is going to be coming our way the further South we go.
A beautiful boat pulled out of the marina across from us at one of the casinos and headed into the Atlantic.
Atlantic City was the last stop on our loop back to fly out from New York. We stayed the night at a Casino Hotel.....weird place!
The morning was spent down on the boardwalk and beach. A tractor type machine rakes the beach to clear the debris of the night before.
... school and it was funny to hear her switch between Afrikaans and speaking English with an American accent – I suppose a bit like me with an Australian accent! Continuing along the trail it got darker and darker with lightening in the distance and then the rain came and wow did it come down. In the first video below it does look brighter than it really was however the second video of the rain is accurate. ... many nests and ospreys we actually saw. As you can see from the photos below he was successful in getting some good shots even without his larger camera. I really enjoyed seeing all the different birds through the binoculars and we were lucky to see two night herons as the name suggest they are normally only out at night. A most enjoyable 2 hours.
