... gentle sounds of the sea put me in dream land.

On Thursday morning, we made a trip to the Park's visitor center and received information on a moderate hike to over look Wineglass Bay, considered one of the top 10 beaches in the world.

The hike up was moderate and, on the journey, we met a delightful couple from London with whom we struck an immediate rapport.

... Chinese Arabic and other scripts as well as English, this was defiantly a city looking to the future. The only disappointment was our regular city visit to the local Chinatown, this looked like it was due for the next phase of the cities major redevelopment, it really was none existent and a bit of a after thought, we did find an excellent veggie place to stop for lunch on the way back to the city, so for us Brisbane had redeemed itself on all counts.

... when we were lead to a table of 8. Uwe then had a word with the Maitre D'i ( a German guy from Kempten in Bavaria) who said we could have a table for 2 as long as we didn't mind going up 1 deck to the Traviata instead. Both dining rooms were identical and served

Spent first day finding our way around, walking Brisbane's busy streets, found the CPD and main shopping area called Queens Mall. There is a specially built promenade next to the river under the roads and bridges for one to cycle, run, roller blade, Segway, or even just for a stroll. This way you are safe from the traffic on the roads.
Next day we spent a few hours at the The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, there were many indigenous birds ...
