    ... There were cars, and a slate mine, and more people! But it was still about an hour and a half to finally reach here!! What a day. The lady a reception was quite proud of us - she said they had to send out the emergency rescue 3 times in the last week to find people who didn't turn up! We were lucky as today is again good weather. It would be impossible without visibility - heroes could go with maps and compasses, but not us. But despite all this tale of ...

    ... be quick on most of the track - it was mercilessly up and down or narrow or uneven, ending with a mammoth uphill, followed by the steepest descent I have ever experienced. It was a grassy path there, so not fatal to lose your footing, but took great concentration! And muscle power! But the scenery was out of this world, and the day was sunny and we were HOT!     ... to the water, saw THE starting point of the C2C, then walked along the beach - this is either pebbles, or hard, wet rippled sand! Not like Manly! But gorgeous, and it hardly dare say it - wonderful sunny weather. Long may it last....
