Off to dinner ...

... we headed south, passing around Edinburgh and then the quieter A road heading towards Gretna Green where we stopped to look at the tourist shops before the short drive over the border into Carlisle. Some confusion with one way streets and ring roads to find our hotel near the city center but overall another fine day with temps in the low 20's and no sign of ...

... and very little breeze. Wednesday, Terry and Ken went for a walk around Tarn Haws while Eira and I spent time together and also went to Barrow to organise an UK sim card for my phone. This was also a birthday for me and once I got my phone working received lots of birthday messages. We went out for a special birthday meal and Eira also produced a birthday ...
