Today was a much better day…we're on a fairgrounds lot within walking distance of a Casey’s gas station, there was an easy place to leave Fridman’s car and we’re on level, solid ground. That’s enough to make me weep with joy. There’s a small ditch we need to cross to get to the tent, so as long as it doesn’t rain today, we’re golden. By the time everyone got to the lot (which was soaked through and spongy from rain), we parked and had to rush out immediately to do laundry. There wasn’t a laundromat in the town, so we had to drive 10 miles away to Sparta. Nick and Emilie came along with us. Laundry wasn’t done before ...
