      We spent new years eve at Ober Gatlinburg, We rode the tram up. Unfortunately it was very crowded and took us 2 1/2 hours in line to get on the tram. Was pretty ride up to the top of the mountain. But once there they were making snow, and the mountain tops had snow from the night before still on the trees.       ... home. This time we had to pull over and spend the night close to St. Augustine in Florida.

      We celebrated New Years Eve with our kids, my parents, my brother and his girlfriend (and her daughter) plus two friends. We spent more money than we should have on fireworks, but the kids had a BLAST!

This is a free National Park and offers a lot of hiking, waterfalls, and wildlife.       We stayed at Cove Creek RV resort. This is a very nice Campground. Well maintained. The facilities were very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly.
