... end to our perfect big lake day.
We celebrated our triumphant day polishing off 3 burgers between us at a lively diner in the hamlet of Lake Louise. And by the time we returned to Banff, the sun was setting spectacularly on the mountains behind our lodge.
Well, I warned you to be prepared for some seriously beautiful lakes... and I hope we delivered!
... t make it to the tea house, as there had been an avalanche that we both decided it would be stupid to try and get over. So we turned around and headed down. Poor Dave kept having to wait, as I struggled coming down over the ice. We both fell in a few times, and I got to the point where I had had enough. I finally made it down though, and we headed back to the hostel, and pretty much just chilled out for the rest of the night.

Reloaded the camera with another memory card - yes 16gb of pics already and headed back down the street to grab a bite to eat, ticket to the gondola, made sure I had correct change for the bus as they don't give change and waited for the bus to Sulphur Mountain.
