      ... check out the elk on the golf course. We saw some Bulls right by the road and some cows on the fairway. We also saw a coyote out on the ice of the frozen river. It was neat. We then headed over to lake Minnewanka and Lake Two Jack. They were beautiful. Almost everything is so beautiful with the towering mountains in the background of any view.       ... Arrived in Banff around 8:30, very long day. Up again in the morning and set of for sulphur mountain. Again unbelievable scenery. Gondola up to summit. Leaving tonight after a dinner at wild bills restaurant, line dancing etc.... Should prove interesting. Will try and send next episode ...

      ... we settled down for some chess and chatting to other guests. As everyone had been out hiking except us they all soon came to fill their pitchers of water and head off to bed.

      Without running water we all had to collect it from the lodge and take it to our cabins. This meant cleaning teeth and washing in basins by lamplight. And don't get me started about the toilet facilities...suffice to say it reminded me of 1990 Glastonbury but with hand sanitizer. ...

      ... postpone the 'walk' to visit an old rail siding and station which has been converted to a restaurant..
      Lots more bear sighting posters... it gets jumpy..

      We cross a narrow wooden foot bridge.. we pause at the other side..
      There is a cyclist coming up behind us.. I calmly say "mind your back" looking over her shoulder..
      A look of terror crosses her face... she leaps the meter between us and grabs me... ...

      As I sit on my window seat overlooking frozen Lake Louise.....pretty hard to take!!! some of you have suggested that I should have had a jumper on when I was at the Top of the world.
