... knowing that we would have to descend the mountains in a way similar to the way we ascended, we decided to document the fright with, yes, just another video! If you choose to view this video, my apologies for its length but I wanted you to share the entire experience! This said, you really had to be there! They said that "whatever goes around, comes around." As we suspected, that was the story of today's tour! For at about 4:30 p.m., we ...

Woke up to Mist on the mountains! Beautiful! The evening in the camp was noisy but since it ended up being in town along the road we planned on travelling. It was made more noisy by our campground companions who were about 20 and having a great time sharing tales by the fire right behind our tent. ... the wildlife. We saw a number of black bears, and possibly a grizzly too. They mostly ran away as soon as the train got near, but a couple were really quite close by. Photographing them proved extremely challenging though: the train moved fast and so did they! The couple of pictures attached should provide proof that we did see them though (if you can find the bear in the second one!)

Beautiful Banff to even more stunning Lake Louise

We awoke to snow covered ground and trees as it had snowed during the night. The mountains were covered with cloud but that did not last long and the sun came out and blue skies appeared ready for another spectacular day.   Travelling through to Lake Louise was a pleasure with our GPS digital guide. He again told us the histories and wildlife stories as well as telling ...
