    This morning we walked the 5km's to the train station, bought tickets for and eventually boarded the train to Plzen... (1 hr 15min train for $10.. Bargain!)

    ... be easier to give the tour. We went with the first group and our tour guide started off talking about the different hops used to make beer. We then went onto different sections and ended up at their automated warehouse. The beer sits here and extra 3-4 weeks because they put in a little extra sugar and beer will ferment more during this time.

    Hi all, still on the ship which moved 4 hours down river while we were out today. It's rained a lot up in the mountains today, so they are hopeful we will take off at 6.30am the water level has definitely risen and flowing a lot faster. It's certainly not Blue This Danube. They said it may even only have 10 centre meters to get thru so if all goes well we will sail and make up the time we have lost. Fingers crossed. ...
