Arrived on time and bought a Dutch sim card for my phone. I'll be here for a while and lots of people to contact and it will be handy for transport apps to have a bit of data too. Then off to get a transport card for travelling on the trains and maybe buses too.
I found the right train with one change at Zwolle and then Rosa met me at Groningen train station.
It is great to be here and it is sunny and warm!
Me, Tamara, Carmen, and their grandma spent the past week in Langeoog. It is pretty small island, but it has been so much fun. The island doesn't allow cars so we have to bike everywhere, and it is honestly a nice change. It's very peaceful here and the beach is so beautiful. Yes, it is in the North Sea, so the water was freezing but we still went swimming and had such a great time. I definitely hope to come back and vacation ...

We had to laugh at one women who was sitting in a sun lounger in the roadway as none of the houses had gardens they just came straight out onto the street, everyone who is heading into the port area from the carparks has to walk down that street, I couldn't stand it, everyone one can see into your house, you would never have any privacy.
