... Had my usual bowl of pasta at the train station, then went to the botanical garden at the university of Copenhagen. It was soooo beautiful! My goodness! So glad I didn't skip it. It was like the muttart conservatory on drugs. With an incredible outdoor portion as well! (See photos) Then I went to Meyers Deli for a beer and pork shoulder sandwich. Treatin' myself goooood. Did some last minute souvenir shopping of course and got my mamma some handmade Danish egg cups. She will love ...

After lunch we walked a little further along Nyhavn to the draw bridge which was up to let some sailboats through - the kids were in awe, first time they've seen one. ... highlight of the presentation was learning about "bike butlers" which are people job training that go around and straighten up bike racks and maintenance your bike if it needs it!

From there, we got lunch and went on a bridge focused tour with Henrik. The highlight of this was seeing a part of Copenhagen that was completely different from the rest. It didn't even feel like the same city. We saw what I believe is considered to be the "ghetto" which consisted of the red square ...

... about the places they have visited. We spent more time than we planned for breakfast but that's perfectly okay when you are on vacation without a time schedule to meet.

Today we did the Stroget and Copenhagen’s Heart and Soul Walk. We began at the Christiansborg Palace. Today it’s a complex of government buildings which stand on the ruins of Copenhagen’s original 12th century fortress. Next door ...
