Planting a Family Tree
Sunday morning, our second in Kenya, and things are going ok. Ella had a bit of a rough night and was up a and down a few times. She was sleeping in my bed with Pip and I was in her bed with Isaac. We figured that the sick ones should be quarantined together. So Pip and Ella's night was unsettled and they were awake from about 5:30am. Spoilt - wined and dined twice in one day...
... and jumped in the car. Time to head to Nairobi. The road was good tar most of the way except for a few expected pot holes and then we hit traffic on the outskirts of Nairobi. Nairobi reminds me a lot of some big cities in South Africa, there are lots of people like any capital and there are lots of mini van taxis - called 'Matatus'. We had no idea what to expect from the suburb of Karen where we were very lucky to have been offered accomodation. ...
