Oh dear - so soon? The horrid travel day has reared its ugly head. We aren't very good at travel days ... We tend to spend a fair bit of time planning for them but something invariably goes wrong. Today we found out we hadn't booked the hire car! We had decided that the easiest way to get a hire car for this trip was to get one from Heathrow. It is easier to drive around to get out of London than the city. Mr S woke and went looking for the reservation and just couldn't find it - ...

We started off the day with another great English breakfast. What is great is that every place has a lot of veggie options so eggs, veggie sausage, grilled tomatoes and beans. Yum. ... and bought me a mocha. I already owe him big time. We spent a good part of the week just talking, and although we are quite different we found heaps to talk about. And his cuddles are really good. Really really good.  - like at all circus festival Galas, there are craft balloons around the seating while we all are arriving, and like always they end up being connected into a huge like and pile. This year a hat was made at the front of the balloon chain and some girl put ...

... for a walk to where my dad lived. On this day i couldn't remember the number if his house, so once i check what it was i will put a picture up. What i did remember from when i was here when i was 16, was that dad had showed my brother and I a tree near his house that he used to hammer nails into. We walked up to the tree and found some old nails hammered into it. Could these be nails that my dad hammered in when he was a boy? ...
