We will post trip information here as soon as it starts. For 2010, we will continue planning the project and look for Sponsors that are willing to invest and support the Project. All indications in that regard is ...
Provincetown, Massachusetts, United States pamericas... white shirts regardless of their physical condition, then this place is just perfect. Picture perfect actually. The harbour is stunning and so are the surrounding beaches, walking trails and bike tracks, and let’s not forget the gorgeous clap-board and shingle sided houses. Not a brick structure in sight, but there is a gigantic granite tower in the centre of town to commemorate the pilgrims landing there. Our B&B was also brilliant. It’s the first time on this trip that ...

Provincetown, Massachusetts, United States irenan... sharp rocks. the wind, current, and swell were so intense that the boat (under motor) was at a stand still, not going forwards, not going backwards, but ever so slightly drifting to the side. . . towards the rocks. although the motor had never been revved up beyond 2200 rpms, tim pushed the throttle to its limit and we crept out of there. amongst this commotion, and just as we got beyond the ...

Eastham, Massachusetts, United States iba-jee... very wet month and we had some worries in the back of our minds that next June might be the same. Next June 12 would be our wedding day and although we have a Plan B if it does rain, nobody really likes it if it rains on their wedding day.

Anyway - we enjoyed watching our 2 1/2 year old niece May play in the water and the sand. She enjoyed her time on the beach house and would wake up every morning remarking that we were all at the beach house.

North Eastham, Massachusetts, United States willa_andrew... Beer Company, ah real beer! We were please to find a pub which has draft Ale on tap, a few pints of Old Speckled Hen went down a treat! Whilst here we spent a pleasant evening with a Canadian couple we met when ordering from the bar! Paul's Father had originated from the UK and Paul had spent a couple of years at Uni in Lincoln and Eastbourne. We had fun chewing the cud, making all the usual comparisons of life styles etc... Hyannis is also where the famous Kennedy ...
Provincetown, Massachusetts, United States andyfreshwaterOur group met once each month for six months to have a pot luck dinner and share hopes, dreams, and packing tips for our trip. For all but one, this will be our first trip to India. Early in the process we had 14 people, but with a sad heart, 2 had to drop out, and the final count for the trip is now 12. We leave on the 27th, and will arrive in India on the 28th.
Boston, Massachusetts, United States devandewey... Back on dry land, we nailed Quincy Market and Brattles Bookshop - this is a very big second hand bookshop, which is very dangerous, and the Library is now grown. We ended up the evening in 'The Hungry 1' a beautiful restaurant in Charles Street. We rounded up Sunday with a walk along the Freedom trail and a viewing of old gravestones which is very very interesting. All in all, this was a fantastic weekend. I have to say this is a great city and we will be coming back!!!
Boston, United States ianps... Harvard Yard and went to the Peabody, Fogg, and Busch Reissinger. The Peabody is not air-conditioned and the humidity was beginning to make it somewhat uncomfortable. Enjoyed the glass flowers of course. Also lots of bones and fossils At the Reissinger I met a sturdy 21 year old German machen studying ESL at Harvard! Long conversation seated around Moholy Nagy's chrome light modulator! The original one! We discussed the differences in educational systems and how important ...
