    Friday 10th October - Monday 12th October 2014 A 3-day bender is how my weekend on the Gold Coast could best be described. A weekend all of day drinking and all night partying. I was here for the Gold Coast 7's and was meeting Frankie, Cat, Fee, Sus, Michael and Dave who were all coming up from Sydney after work.     ... and looked around there. The Mall is a fantastic structure and was not due to open until 10 am; so therefore the pedestrians around were workers on their way to work.

    We had a good look around it seeing the Underwater Aquarium, the fountains outside and the various other attractions there. The aquarium is very impressive with the biggest fish being Sharks, Stingray and Gophers.

    Sorry for the delay in posting this post but we have been dealing with a bit of a crisis and I have only now been able to sit down and write. We'll get to that later though, just know that everyone is fine and all is well now.

    ... hysterical by this time, then Malc found he had two on his feet, we should have worn closed in shoes, that will teach us!! Friday we took a drive to Surfers Paradise which has a great sandy beach with good waves, however, the beach road is quite tacky and very much like the Costa Brava.     ... I'll come home and not know how to drive my manual! Ian's friends are from Glasgow - as in Greenock so I'll be coming back speaking Glaswegian rather than Aussie!! Haha Well that's you all officially back into your full week at work and I bet the team are missing me loads - not!!
