... stir from its holiday slumber, we covered up our windscreen, curled up in our tent and worked away with rain drumming on our roof and nasty mossies hatching plans as to how they might break in for their latest fix. The one lesson that we do take away from all of this is, always have enough milk and a working camping table so you won't have to enter car parks with low clearances :) I'll keep those valuable life lessons coming so stick around for more! ...

We spent a large amount of time on the Gold Coast at Surfers Paradise. It is very touristy and comparable to Florida night life. The beach is pretty but swimming is restricted to certain areas due to the danger of box jellyfish. The weather wasn't too great during the week so we did not spend much time on the beach regardless.
