Not up till 8am this morning, to another bright sunny day, however clouds are threatening.

Drive to the Glasshouse Mountains Information Centre and get details on all the walks and things to see and do. Decide that we would rather walk around etc and decide not to bother with Australia's Zoo this time around. Head for Mt ...

8th May set off on our exciting nomad adventure north.

Garry & I left Caloundra, visited friends in Gympie Janelle & Ken.

Stayed our first night in a free camp at Gin Gin a beautiful shady campsite.

9th May we drove to Calliope another beautiful free camp on the river. Our next stop was at Flaggy Rock just south of Sarina.

Santa made an appearance as well and all in all it was good fun, if a bit staged.

We then went and got our picture taken with a koala (I've always wanted to cuddle one so took the opportunity) and learnt a bit about koalas at the koala ...

Well everything started well enough, we were up and to the airport in good time. We had to travel from Brisbane Domestic as our international flight left from Sydney. We were greeted at Brisbane with the 'Free WiFi' sign. Only fooling, free if you could get it, I couldn't, not on phone or iPad, never mind lets have a cup of coffee. "Sorry, you don't open until 5, thats an hour's time!" Oh well at least one of the cold drinks machines was working, welcome to Brisbane Airport!! ...
